Magazine Publisher Case Study 2 (Warners)

Warners Group Publications is an inclusive UK magazine that is one of the less well known or popular companies among the entirety of the UK. It was established in 1988 and is known for specializing in the more 'Niche' magazine titles. A lot of their titles are aimed helping people with work and business. Warners have now been in business for around 25 years and are publishing over 20 magazine titles. Warners believe that without the correct 'ingredients', you can end up with a publication that docent deliver what you intend it to deliver and will not be able to reach out to the target audience.

Warners also cover a lot of different services across a range of markets. Their range of magazines range from Outdoor leisure with magazines such as 'Caravan' and 'Camping Magazine', to hobbies and crafts with magazines like 'Making Cards' and 'Parchment Crafts.' Each magazine in each market covers a different thing relating to their target audience. For example, the magazines entitled 'Birdwatch' and 'Canoe and 'Kayak' both cover completely different hobbies, yet they both come under the same market which, in this case, is Active Outdoor.

This company does not just produce magazines though. Warners also host things like Exhibitions and shows that display a lot of the latest motor homes and caravans. Warners will display the items in front of an audience and then will put the items on sale. They also do doll house sales and park/holiday home sales on top of motor home sales.

Warners have a range of websites that support their vast range of magazines. For the majority of markets they cover, they have a separate website that gives all the information about the magazines in full detail.
